Louis Terrace is a great example of making the best out of a tricky situation. This steep hillside is being naturally formed into perfectly workable garden space. We use vetiver, an erosion control grass, to hold the soil and allow water to seep and pass through. Over time, these beds will be as fruitful as our flatter sites, if not more. Vetiver also provides a heavy mulch, and cedar-scented roots containing an essential oil. Good work, Louis!

Adjacent to Louis Terrace is our horse stable, home to our seven horses when they are not out grazing. We primarily grow king grass and sugar cane to supplement their diet. Our five fully grown horses will show you the hidden treasures of this valley. The two foals might even follow you.
